The Dirt on Climate Change™ – about the film

The new, original film The Dirt on Climate Change™ premiered April 15, 2018, in Santa Cruz, CA.

The film is about an ecological or biological approach to climate change and deals with sequestering carbon in the soil and plants, not just reducing it in the air.

Background:  Created and produced by Lois Robin and Ed Schehl, this is the fourth film they have worked on together. On this film we are joined by host Jon Kennedy.  Come help us celebrate on April 15th in Santa Cruz with all those who contributed and so worked hard to make it a reality.

Filmmaker Lois Robin interviewed Sept 2018 on Planet Watch Radio (54 min)

On 12 August 2018, the film was screened at the Museum of Art & History, followed by a Roundtable Discussion with Sallie Calhoun, featured in the film, and two additional experts on carbon and the hope for reversing climate change. (more)

The April 2018 premiere event was followed by a lively discussion with The Dirt filmmakers and some of the film’s featured interviews, including Joe Morris shown here talking with host Jon Kennedy.
